Customers will see the amount of export generation they are selling to us on the back of their electricity invoice. The buy back rate is 13 cents per kWh. Please note Megatel does not offer a standard buy-back rate for customers who generate electricity exceed import consumption. Customers can only claim GST if they are GST registered and they will need to inform us if they have. The value of GST will be 0 for export meters for the customers who are not GST registered.
