We provide a wide range of payment options:

  • Set up a recurring payment: This is a hassle-free way to pay your account. You’ll never miss a payment and you’ll still get your bill so you can keep an eye on your usage and the amount you owe. You can set up a direct debit or credit card recurring payment on MyMegatel App.

  • One-off Payment in the MyMegatel App: you can make a payment on MyMegatel App here with your credit card or debit card, by online bank transfer (account2account; available banks are ANZ, ASB, BNZ, Kiwibank, The Co-operative Bank, TSB, Westpac), by WeChat Pay, by Union Pay, by Alipay. If you want to make a payment with a specific amount, tap on a small icon next to the total amount then you can set your own amount to pay.

  • Credit card payment over the phone: unfortunately, we can't help you to make a credit card payment over the phone due to security reason.

  • Megatel bank account: at MyMegatel, we take payment security seriously. That's why we've chosen not to offer bank transfers as a payment option. While bank transfers may seem like a convenient way to pay, they come with a higher risk of human error. Even small mistakes, such as entering an incorrect account number or sort code, can lead to delays or even the loss of funds. To ensure that our customers' payments are processed quickly and securely, we focus on offering reliable payment methods, such as recurring payments and online payments through our secure MyMegatel app. These payment methods not only reduce the risk of errors but also provide customers with peace of mind that their payments are being processed efficiently and securely.

  • Weekly payment: automatic weekly payments are not available, as we only offer monthly direct debit option. However, you are welcome to make a payment using the payment method of your preference.


Q: I want to process a payment for a specific amount. Where can I do that?

A: If you want to make a payment for a specific amount rather than clear all the remaining balance, you can do so by tap on the small icon next to the total amount on Billing & Payment in MyMegatel App where you can set your own amount to pay.


Q: My current account balance is zero, but I would like to make a payment in advance. Is that possible?

A: That is not possible. Our current payment system only allows payments when there are outstanding amounts.
