1. Open the Deco App and tap Create a TP-Link ID

You need a TP-Link ID to use the Deco App.

Put your email address then click NEXT.

Set up a preferred password and tap Sign Up to create your ID.

An activation email will be sent out to the email address registered as TP-Link ID.

To complete the registration, click on the link with the email from TP-Link.

Return back to the Deco app to input the email address and the password and click the login button.

Once you have been logged in, you can begin the set up process.

 2. Select your Deco device

Select the M5/M9 Plus model from the options below.

3. Setting up the 1 Deco first

Check to confirm that you have all of the components and click "Next".

4. Disconnect your old router, Please select "I don't have a modem" and Click Next

5. Connect Deco to your ONT

Connect the Etnerhet port on ONT box to the Ethernet port on Deco using a LAN Cable. Connect the power cable and turn on both devices.

6. Search for a Deco

Once the Ethernet ports on ONT & Deco have been connected, wait for the LED on Deco to change to Solid Blue light, then CLICK NEXT

7. Connecting to Bluetooth

If you connect from your mobile device to Bluetooth, it will search for your Deco device.

[SET UP your Deco]

Select a location for this Deco. If your location is not listed, you can create a new one by choosing the 'Custom' button.

Enter "PPPOE" as Internet connection type, your ISP username as "deco" and password is " 1234", click "Next".

Set up Wi-Fi and and Password, this will be used to connect your devices at home to internet through WI-FI connection.

[Add Additional Decos]

You can add more than one Deco to expand Wi-Fi coverage. Click "Add another Deco".

Choose your additional Deco model which should be M5/M9 Plus

Please choose the most adequate location for your Deco device, then next

Make sure you put in the open space

Place your Deco away from electrical appliances

Connect the power cable to your Deco device and wait until the LED changes to Solid Blue light.

Decos are ready to go

You can check WIFI Speed here and see the devices which are connected to Wi-Fi

Check your Wi-Fi setting or change your password here
