Step 1

Locate the Fibre Box (ONT) on the wall.

There are two main type of ONT models supplied by Chorus.
(if you are not on Chorus network, your Fibre Box will look different)

Step 2

Please ensure that ONT Power and Optical (GPON) lights are on.

Step 3

You need to ensure that an ethernet cable (yellow colour, can be found in the router box) is connected between the Fibre Box (ONT) and the router.

Please connect one end of a yellow ethernet cable is connected to applicable GE port on the Fibre Box (ONT).

Then, connect the other end of the cable to LAN4/WAN port on the router.


Step 4

If you have an Internet phone (VoIP), you will need to connect the phone cable to Phone 1 port on the router.

If your broadband is connected correctly, you will find a light on WAN and blinking / solid on the Internet.

How to connect to Wi-Fi?

1. This SSID provides Wi-Fi signal to a larger area with a better stability. Please connect this SSID to your device with the Password/PIN, if you are connecting from a location far away from your router.

2. This SSID provide a faster Wi-Fi speed to a shorter distance. Please connect this SSID to your device with the Password/PIN, if you are connecting from a location closer to your router.

** The Wi-Fi option you select will depend on the size and setting of your home and the location where your router will be.


Changing your password will log you out immediately. Use the new password to log back in.
